industry experience on average, includes the original thought partners that
created, validated and executed the business plan. Centric’s management team
possesses ‘real world’ knowledge of healthcare economics and the pharmaceutical
delivery channel industry.
Additionally, the management team has in-depth
understanding of the complex regulatory environment in which Centric operates,
which is critical in structuring programs that provide value to customers while
adhering to the applicable regulatory framework.
Management Bios
Stephen B. White – Executive Vice President &
General Counsel
Steve joined Centric after providing outside counsel support to Priority Healthcare Corporation for a number of years as a founder of Simbro, White &
Barfield, PC, in Scottsdale, Arizona. His legal experience emphasized litigation support and transactional support for a variety of commercial enterprises, including banks and specialty finance companies, as well as specialty distribution for pharmaceuticals. Before forming his own practice, Steve was a senior litigation manager with the international firm, Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, LLP.
He graduated from Arizona State University College of Law in 1988, where he was the Executive Managing Editor of the Arizona State Law Journal. Steve also has a BS Degree in Accounting from Arizona State University in 1982.
Prior to his 18+ years of legal experience, Steve was an Audit Senior with Coopers & Lybrand's Phoenix office. In September 2005, Steve moved his family to San Diego.
Pete Winkenbach – Executive Vice President,
Operations
Before Pete joined Centric, he was Vice President of Specialty Pharmaceuticals at McKesson Corp.
He successfully established contractual relationships with emerging on-line pharmaceutical / health
care ventures within the existing retail chain customer base and start-up e-commerce companies.
He was also responsible for developing and selling McKesson’s automated prescription refill
center (ARC) serving the pharmaceutical group’s retail customer segment. Pete’s expertise also
includes physician-direct distribution, strategic new business acquisition, distribution
programs, and manufacturer drug launch sales & implementation.
He studied Computer Science and Business Administration at Oklahoma State University.
Javier Muniz - Vice President, Information Management & Information Technology
Javier joined Centric after holding the positions of Director of Technology Infrastructure and
Director of Technology Integration at Priority Healthcare with responsibility for
systems/network/telecommunications infrastructure, technical integration of acquisitions,
IT governance and information security.
Prior to joining Priority, Javier served as an independent strategic consultant helping clients
deliver their products and services through the most efficient use of internal and external resources;
and the optimized alignment of information technology. From 1995 to 2002 Mr. Muniz ascended through a
number roles at KFORCE Professional Staffing; his most recent was as IT Vice President of Operations.
Mr. Muniz has also served in technical consultative roles and positions in several industries including
defense, insurance, finance, and staffing. Customers and employers include Citibank, JPMorgan Chase,
Progressive Insurance and Raytheon.
Javier holds a BS in Industrial Technology from the Southern Illinois University overseas campus
program while working as a Department of Defense contractor in the United Kingdom. He also holds
several technology industry certifications.
John Cramer – Director of Operations
John joins Centric after twenty years of success managing health insurance operations and health care services. He has led the proven development and acceleration of startup endeavors in health payer and care delivery, rules based automation applications, medical management, and insurer specialty services.
John was recently Director National Claims Center with CareCentrix, an ancillary health care service company based in Hartford CT. Prior to that he was Vice President of Claim and Member Services with Imerica Life and Health Insurance, a start up health insurer. John has also held senior operations management positions with Aegon/TransAmerica, a Netherlands based international insurer, and with American National Insurance Company in Texas. He has several insurance and health service designations, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Personnel/Industrial Relations from the University of Kansas.
